The digestive tract plays a vital role in your health, as it’s responsible for absorbing nutrients and eliminating waste.
Unfortunately, many people suffer from digestive problems like bloating, cramping, gas, abdominal pain, diarrhea and constipation for a variety of reasons.
Certain conditions, such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), Crohn’s Disease, diverticulitis and heartburn, can put you at risk for more severe digestive issues.
However, even a healthy person can experience digestive problems due to things such as a lack of fibre or probiotic-rich foods in their diet.
Digestion Helper tea can help with improving your digestion.
A quick exploration of three key ingredients that are in Digestion Helper will help clarify things.
Anise: Known for its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, anise serves as the base for Ouzo, Greece's famous after-dinner alcoholic digestive. Opa!
Licorice: Prized by natural health practitioners for its ability to soothe post-dinner gastric and abdominal ailments such as heartburn and inflammation. Perfect.
Fennel: Loaded with significant levels of fibre, fennel soothed stretched stomachs since at least the Roman era. Iubentium! (That's 'cheers' in Latin.)
Now, if you still need some more incentive for an after-dinner cup of Digestion Helper, we've got an additional reason for you. Butterfly blue pea flower, the base for the blue colour of this delectable herbal blend is believed to possess strong anti-ageing properties. Want to feel better and live forever? IDEAL BREWING TEMPERATURE: 85ºC/185ºF. For Food Safety reasons bring water to 100ºC/212ºF and let it cool down to 85ºC/185ºF.
HOT BREWING METHOD:
Bring filtered or freshly drawn cold water to a rolling boil. Place 1 slightly heaping teaspoon of loose tea for each 7-9oz / 200-260ml of fluid volume in the teapot. Briefly infuse with freshly boiled water and then pour off. Re-infuse the tea and pour after about 1 minute or longer to taste.
ICED TEA BREWING METHOD (Individual Serving):
Place 1 slightly heaping teaspoon of loose leaf or 1 tea bag into a teapot for each serving required. Using filtered or freshly drawn cold water, boil and pour 6-7oz/170-200ml per serving over the tea leaves. Cover and let steep for 5 minutes. Add hot tea to a 12oz/375ml acrylic glass filled with ice, straining the tea leaves, or removing the bags. Not all of the tea will fit, allowing for approximately an additional ½ serving. Sweeten and/or add lemon to taste. A rule of thumb when preparing fresh brewed iced herbal tea is to increase the strength of hot tea since it will be poured over ice and diluted
