Tea Rooted in Heritage:
Tea is ingrained in our DNA, tracing back to the legacy of my mother, whose roots were steeped in luxury coffee, specifically the world-renowned Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee. She also owned a farm where she cultivated herbs and tea bushes, including mint, lemongrass, spearmint, and hibiscus. During my childhood, we would explore the lush green fields and carefully collect the finest tea bushes and herbs to be sold at the Market (Coronation) in Kingston, Jamaica.
As a young entrepreneur, my mother cherished the importance of quality. She dedicated hours meticulously selecting and packaging bush tea for her loyal customers at the market. It was there that she honed her skills in blending and crafting some of the most uniquely flavored teas for her customers.
A Legacy of Wellness:
She often crafted blends for medicinal purposes, addressing a range of ailments such as asthma, fever, diabetes, arthritis, fatigue, stress, headaches, and aches and pains. Her blends were composed of the finest ingredients, including hibiscus, mint, soursop leaves, lime leaves, orange peels, safflower, moringa, comfrey, noni, and much more.
From her, I inherited a keen sense for wellness blends. Sadly, we lost her in 2012, but in January 2017, we fulfilled her dream by opening our first location at 20 Maritime Ontario Blvd, Brampton, Ontario. Today, at The Amazing Tea Company, we strive to keep her traditions alive. We proudly serve the best all-natural loose leaf teas, not only beneficial for your well-being but also guaranteed to make you Feel Amazing!
