Steeping Instructions

💧 What You’ll Need
Loose leaf herbal tea
Fresh cold water (filtered if possible)
A teapot or your favorite mug
Tea infuser or strainer
Teaspoon

🍵 Brewing a Pot
1️⃣ Boil water
Start with fresh, cold water and bring it to a boil.
2️⃣ Warm the teapot
Pour hot water into your teapot to warm it up. Discard the water.
3️⃣ Measure the tea
Use 2 rounded teaspoons of loose leaf tea for each cup, plus one extra teaspoon for the pot.
4️⃣ Steep
Pour boiling water over the tea leaves. Cover and let steep for 5 to 7 minutes. Herbal teas often benefit from a slightly longer steep for a fuller flavor.
5️⃣ Strain and serve
Pour the tea through a strainer into cups. Enjoy hot or let it cool slightly before drinking.

☕ Brewing a Single Cup
1️⃣ Boil water
Always start with fresh, cold water for the best flavor.
2️⃣ Warm your cup
Fill your mug with hot water to preheat it, then discard.
3️⃣ Measure the tea
Place 2 rounded teaspoons of herbal tea into an infuser.
4️⃣ Steep
Place the infuser in your cup. Pour boiling water over the tea and let it steep for 5 to 7 minutes. Adjust the time to your taste preference.
5️⃣ Remove and enjoy
Remove the infuser and sip your tea while warm.

❄️ Iced Tea (Individual Serving)
1️⃣ Measure the tea
Add 1 - 2 teaspoons of loose leaf herbal tea (or one tea bag) per serving into a teapot.
2️⃣ Boil and pour
Boil fresh, cold water and pour about 6 to 7 oz (170 to 200 ml) over the tea.
3️⃣ Steep
Cover and let steep for 5 minutes. For iced tea, a stronger brew is best to balance the ice dilution.
4️⃣ Pour over ice
Strain the tea into a 12 oz (375 ml) glass filled with ice. Some tea will remain in the pot, leaving room for topping up.
5️⃣ Optional
Sweeten or add lemon if desired. Refreshing and perfect for warm days!
✅ Tip
Herbal teas often have delicate flowers, fruits, or herbs. Avoid over-steeping to keep the flavor smooth and balanced.
