Steeping Instructions

☕ How to Brew Loose Leaf Tea
💧 What You’ll Need:
Loose leaf tea
Fresh cold water
A teapot or mug
Tea infuser or strainer
Teaspoon

🍵 Method 1: By the Pot
Boil water: Start with fresh, cold water.
Warm the teapot: Swirl with hot water and discard.
Add tea: Use 2 rounded teaspoons per cup, plus 1 extra spoon for the pot.
Pour and steep: Add boiling water over the leaves.
Cover and steep for 3-5 minutes (or longer for a stronger brew).
Strain and serve: Pour through a strainer into your cup.

☕ Method 2: By the Cup
Boil water: Always use fresh water for best taste.
Warm your cup: Pour in hot water, then empty it.
Add tea to the infuser: Use 2 rounded teaspoons.
✨ Leave room in your cup: tea leaves expand as they steep!
Pour and steep: Pour boiling water over the tea.
Steep for 4-5 minutes, or adjust to your taste.
Remove the infuser and enjoy!

ICED TEA BREWING METHOD (Individual Serving):
Place 1 slightly heaping teaspoon of loose leaf or 1 tea bag into a teapot for each serving required. Using filtered or freshly drawn cold water, boil and pour 6-7oz/170-200ml per serving over the tea leaves. Cover and let steep for 5 minutes. Add hot tea to a 12oz/375ml acrylic glass filled with ice, straining the tea leaves, or removing the bags. Not all of the tea will fit, allowing for approximately an additional ½ serving. Sweeten and/or add lemon to taste. A rule of thumb when preparing freshly brewed iced herbal tea is to increase the strength of hot tea since it will be poured over ice and diluted.
